Curzon Street, Burnley
SMLA were appointed as project Landscape Architects to work on this major £30m retail led town centre renewal project by Henry Boot Developments; working closely with Hurd Rolland Architects. The project is due to go in for planning approval in late 2009. Our brief was to develop a distinctive and coordinated approach to the design of the public realm which linked with the centre of Burnley and which matched the distinctive forward looking outlook of the town.
