Haughton Green Environmental Works
SMLA have been commissioned by Irwell Valley Housing Association in conjunction with Arcus Consulting and Simon Fenton Partnership to develop proposals with the housing association and residents for environmental improvements including improved boundaries, environmental improvements and parking provision on the Haughton Green Estate in Tameside Greater Manchester with a budget of £1.5m.
Tatton Road Haughton Green Town Centre Improvements
Refurbishment of a tired public space on a tight budget to create a space which serves a focus for the community with links to shops and public buildings, a simple but direct palette of materials and robust contemporary street furniture and fittings. Budget £165,000. Client: Irwell Valley Housing Association with funding from Tameside Council.
