Redbrook Wildlife Trail, Partington

Redbrook Wildlife Trail is located on the southern edge of Partington. The project has entailed creating vital links with the surrounding natural landscape and clearing problem areas of dereliction while enhancing and protecting existing areas of wildlife and ecological value.The project was carried out in conjunction with P.O.W.E.R.(Partington Original Women for Education and Recreation) who enabled on site workshops bulb planting and cleanups in conjunction with the design team, housing association and local groups. Client - Manchester and District Housing Association. Completion November 2007; budget £80,000 using ERDF funding.
