Sale West 'Transforming your space'
SMLA were appointed to develop proposals for upgrading public open space in the Sale West area of Greater Manchester by Irwell Valley Housing Association in June 2003. Working in partnership with the Housing Association, local residents and Trafford Council proposals have been developed to refurbish two parks, a local neighbourhood shopping area; the environment around high-rise block of flats as well as improved links to the adjoining Trans–Pennine trail cycleway. Budget: £500,000. Practical completion August 2006.
