Proposals to improve the school grounds have been submitted for planning approval.
A key aspect in the project is the intention of the school to focus on creative outdoor learning.
A period of workshops with teaching staff and pupils as well as engagement with the Forest Schools programme
adopted by the school has helped to inform the proposals.
The exisiting playing field is being developed into a learning environment with woodland,natural play,
wildflower meadows, growing areas and produce areas.There will be different habitat zones with outdoor
classrooms and orchard areas.
It is hoped to start work on site by Autumn 2015.
